GW App - YouTube Summarizer

GravityWrite’s mobile app helps you quickly generate summaries of YouTube videos or Shorts in just a few taps.

Open the App and go to Dashboard -> **Under the **Tools section, click YouTube Summarizer

• Copy the video/Short link from YouTube.
• Open the GravityWrite app — a smart “Paste Link” icon will auto-detect the copied link. Tap it to paste instantly, or use the “Paste Link” button manually.
• Choose your preferred summary language before pasting.
• The app will begin processing and show real-time status updates.

NOTE: You don’t need to wait for one summary to finish before adding the next. Keep pasting multiple video links one after another - they will be queued and processed one by one.

Status Flows:

• Videos with audio/captions: Processing → Completed

• Videos with no captions, but audio present:

Queued → Processing → Analyzing Video → Extracting Audio → Transcribing Audio → Generating Summary → Completed

• Videos with no captions, no audio:

Queued → Processing → Analyzing Video → Extracting Audio → Transcribing Audio →  Failed

Error shown: “Unable to generate summary. The video doesn’t contain proper audio for processing.”

• While watching a video on YouTube, click the Share button.
• Choose GravityWrite from the list of apps.

• The summary process will begin in the background - No need to open the app!
• You will receive push notifications at every key stage (like “Processing”, “Completed”).

• Tap the notification to view the summary in-app.

NOTE: Even when sharing from YouTube, you can queue multiple videos. Notifications will include the video title, so you can open them at your convenience.

Once the summary is generated, here you will see:

• Embedded YouTube video (with play option).
• “Watch on YouTube” button.
• Generated summary text.
• Share (🔗) to other apps like WhatsApp, Notes, Gmail, etc.
• Copy (📋) summary to clipboard.
• Credits consumed for the summary generation will be displayed at bottom of summary.

• All the generated summaries appear under the History section.
• Tap the Bookmark icon to save your favorite summary - Bookmarked videos will be listed at the top.
• Use the “Bookmarked” filter to view only saved items.
• Tap the Delete icon to remove summaries. A confirmation popup will appear before deletion.

• Before pasting the link, you can choose your preferred language.
• Even if a video summary is already generated in one language (e.g., English), same video's summary can be generated again in another language (e.g., French). Each version appears separately with clear language tags like ENGLISH or FRENCH.

1. Open the GravityWrite mobile app and go to the Dashboard.
2. On the top-left corner, tap the three-line menu icon (☰)
3. From the menu options, select Manage Subscription.

Inside this section, users can view complete details of their subscription:

• Current Plan – Displays the plan you are currently subscribed to.
• Credit Usage – Shows credits used vs. total available (e.g., 5.5/2500)
• Remaining Credits – An “i” icon is shown next to the credit usage. Tapping it will display a small pop-up with the exact number of pending credits.
• Plan Expiry Date – Clearly mentions the date when the current plan will expire.

There is also an option to upgrade the plan, which the user can use if needed.
